Identify what deserves a close look

List genuine differentiators: texture, finishing, fastening or evidenced handwork. Build the shot list around them. Luxury need not mean adding gold everywhere; a quiet composition and a carefully observed detail may say more.

Balance context and detail

Overall images establish character and scale; close-ups show materials. Avoid lighting that erases texture or distorts color. Test small-screen presentation, where a strong desktop image may lose meaning.

Example: a leather piece

Show the whole piece, stitching, edges, hardware and interior. Use verified material descriptions and producer-approved care instructions. Do not claim handcraft or provenance without evidence. Precise copy leaves room for the image.

Carry the language into delivery

Review packaging, cards, price presentation and aftercare. Set flexible rules for imagery, spacing and voice, then test across different products so the result is a repeatable identity, not one successful scene.
