Define the viewer

Technical buyers, potential employees and general visitors need different information. Choose the question the film should answer and the level of detail. Use a main film and specialist clips if one video cannot serve every purpose.

Follow the workflow

Show permitted stages from input through processing and inspection to output. Verify process names with technical staff before writing narration. Match footage to the stage being described rather than substituting an attractive but unrelated machine.

Example: a production line

Explain each stage’s role in the final result. Have capacity, accuracy and certification claims approved with their correct context. Plan safety and restricted areas before the shoot; do not interrupt necessary procedures for a shot.

Prepare for different uses

Plan versions for exhibitions, websites and sales conversations. Provide captions for silent viewing. Keep footage records and approved information so changes to facilities can be reflected later.
