Listen to reception first

Collect a week of recurring parent questions: available stages, the school day, transport, activities and visiting arrangements. Organize the page around those questions rather than administrative departments. A small detail such as the finishing time may help a family decide whether the school fits their routine.

Make learning tangible

Replace broad praise with an activity and its purpose. Explain how pupils collaborate or how a teacher checks understanding. Use images approved for publication without exposing student information. Every image should answer a question, not simply extend the gallery.

Example: a family exploring early years

Explain the school’s age criteria, daily routine, communication and what to bring on a visit. If visits are offered, provide a visit request button and explain that confirmation follows. Give useful information before requesting a long list of details.

Check what changes

After two weeks, ask reception which questions have decreased and which remain. Track confirmed visit requests as well as page interest. Keep admission information current and identify the intake it applies to so families do not rely on outdated details.
