Answer the project owner’s questions
Clarify the work you perform, your role and relevant resources. Lead with a specific introduction and projects related to the opportunity. The value lies in relevance, not the number of photographs.
Define your role
Record scope, period and documented outputs for each project. Distinguish main contracting, specialist contracting and supply. A clearly described contribution is more credible than implying responsibility for an entire building.
Example: an interiors project
Show an overview, details of completed scope and a challenge with the approach taken. Publish only supported outcomes. Prepare a short introduction and a route to fuller material instead of sending a huge file at first contact.
Make documentation routine
Assign someone to collect approved photos and project information at each stage. Label files by date, location and work package, and keep publication approvals. Future proposals then start with organized evidence.
